The economic value of volunteering

Over the past few years many of you have taken part in formal and informal discussions on how to demonstrate the value of volunteerism and specifically assigning an economic value to volunteering. It is a contentious, complex and difficult issue, and one which has the potential to enormously impact how we and society at large view and regard volunteerism. To help provide leadership on this matter, Volunteer Canada has prepared a draft discussion paper. Click here to view the full document.
