Volunteer Canada’s membership includes over 1,200 individuals, voluntary sector organizations, volunteer centres, non-profits and companies of all sizes. They represent Canada’s interest in keeping volunteerism strong.

Volunteer Canada features a different member on our blog every month. This month, we are pleased to feature Autism Society of PEI.


Part of the Autism Society of Canada, the Autism Society of Prince Edward Island provides information and support to family members, professionals and individuals affected by Autism. The Society encourages, supports, promotes and advocates quality education, treatment, services and equipment for those affected by Autism.

The Society offers Family Diagnosis Packages to help those affected by Autism better understand the services and supports offered to them.

The Autism Society of PEI also raises public awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorders and promotes and supports research of their causes and treatments.
