National Volunteer Week is the time to formally recognize volunteers across Canada. However, on-going recognition is important for volunteers to feel appreciated year-round.

The Volunteer Recognition Tool helps volunteer managers plan meaningful recognition activities. Volunteers take the quiz to find out what their language of recognition is, and then share the results with their manager. Some may prefer heartfelt hoorays or receiving goodies and gifts. You can use this information to plan meaningful and effective recognition activities.
