Director, Corporate Civic Engagement
The Director Corporate Civic Engagement is the focal point for the corporate community at Volunteer Canada. Building upon Volunteer Canada’s decades of leadership in building corporate citizenship, the incumbent will manage a suite of engagement programs, assess impact, develop and maintain partnerships, create a research agenda, and ensure that Volunteer Canada works with its corporate partners to maximize their community engagement.
Associate, Skills Exchange for Good – 6.5-month contract
Volunteer Canada is seeking a part time Associate to manage delivery of the Skills Exchange for Good (SX4G) delivery. Aligning to Canada’s National Housing Strategy, the SX4G Program builds capacity in the affordable housing sector by connecting skills-based volunteers with non-profit organizations on specific projects in supportive housing. The pilot program wrapped up in 2022 - based on its success, Volunteer Canada launched a pan-Canadian expansion for non-profits across the country.

Director, Engagement and Membership Services
The Director, Engagement and Membership Services will have responsibility over three main areas across the organization: leading public engagement and outreach, strengthening our membership model and leading operational excellence.
The candidate will be a public affairs and engagement leader with a passion for delivering excellence in membership relationships. They will be interested in strengthening our membership services and model and will have a keen eye for reimagining the role that strategic communications and outreach plays in engaging partners, stakeholders and members.

Welcome David Vandenberg!
Volunteer Canada is pleased to welcome David Vandenberg as the new Corporate Citizenship Specialist.
David Vandenberg is a community builder and social impact specialist focused on strategic partnership development that drives actionable results for stakeholders. In his new role with Volunteer Canada, David will work closely with both companies and non-profits to advance positive social and environmental impact by facilitating a variety of engagement opportunities.
David has held roles at Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, Burlington's Emergency Meal Program, and Crestview Strategy. David is experienced in non-profit management, government relations, strategic planning, and DEI best practices.
David holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McMaster University, a Not-for-Profit Leadership and Management Certificate from Mohawk College, was named a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International in 2021 and was awarded the Platinum Jubilee Medal of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by the Government of Canada in 2022 for community service.
