Fundraising and Operations Coordinator
We are seeking an Operations Coordinator for a four-month contract starting in Mid-June 2023 to support our mission by providing general operations support for the Corporate Community Engagement Council (CCEC), various administrative and operational services, and supporting the Corporate Citizenship team with group volunteering initiatives.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Social Policy Analyst for a four-month contract starting in Mid-June 2023. As a Social Policy Analyst, you will support research and analysis on key policy trends impacting volunteerism, assist with content creation for the Canadian Knowledge Hub on Giving and Volunteering, and support data gathering for the Roadmap Towards a National Action Strategy.

Reporting to the President and CEO (Chief Executive Officer), the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for enhancing Volunteer Canada’s products and services by upgrading our technologies and developing policies and services. The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing an integrated technology framework that supports organizational effectiveness and efficiencies. The CTO will work closely with the team and partners to identify and execute opportunities to enhance our digital presence, streamline processes, and drive innovation across our programs and. The CTO will play a critical role in modernizing Volunteer Canada’s technological infrastructure so that we better serve the changing needs of volunteers and volunteer-serving organization

Welcome David Vandenberg!
Volunteer Canada is pleased to welcome David Vandenberg as the new Corporate Citizenship Specialist.
David Vandenberg is a community builder and social impact specialist focused on strategic partnership development that drives actionable results for stakeholders. In his new role with Volunteer Canada, David will work closely with both companies and non-profits to advance positive social and environmental impact by facilitating a variety of engagement opportunities.
David has held roles at Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, Burlington's Emergency Meal Program, and Crestview Strategy. David is experienced in non-profit management, government relations, strategic planning, and DEI best practices.
David holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McMaster University, a Not-for-Profit Leadership and Management Certificate from Mohawk College, was named a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International in 2021 and was awarded the Platinum Jubilee Medal of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by the Government of Canada in 2022 for community service.
